About
A handy place to keep Lindsey’s dance writing all in one place and a space to tell you the things I might not in a feature written for elsewhere.
Rifle in my archives and see me here and there.

Hello,
The latest issue of Artkrush probes the intersection between art and dance. In both performance and video, visual artists are increasingly turning to dance as a tool for expression and social change. Artkrush #66 surveys the key players, such as Tino Sehgal, Oliver Herring, and A.L. Steiner, and we interview Julia Mandle about her fusion of dance, sculpture, and architecture. Our artist-to-watch is young filmmaker Daria Martin, who creates surreal sets and props for her costumed performers, and our media pick is Elinor Carucci’s photo diary of her life as a belly dancer. Topping off the issue, we review saucy new exhibitions from Pierre et Gilles in Paris and Josephine Meckseper in Stuttgart.

All best,
Paul
